An important american company is looking for an Operations Manager.

General Description
Plans organizes leads controls and coordinates the delivery of services in the area of hazardoutsourcing at a remote service center. Responsible for maintaining client as it
relates to outsourcing. Manages a single client or a single unit and provides leadership to alarge number of associates.

Essencial Functions (some of them)

  • Works closely with senior management in developing short and longterm goals that arestrategically aligned with the organizations focus and vision.
  • Develops secures approval of and administers an operating budget for area(s) ofresponsibility. Ensures all area(s) of responsibilitys projections and actual expenses meetbudgeted objectives.
  • Formulates policy for area(s) of responsibility and secures appropriate approvals. Developsand administers procedures necessary to implement approved policy. Manages andprovides leadership to supervisory staff to ensure the delivery of efficient and effectivelevels of service.
  • Responsible for the development implementation documentation and monitoring of anongoing quality assurance program for area(s) of responsibility. Ensures compliance withregulatory agency guidelines and standards.
  • Interfaces with local vendors to ensure that all Mail Services equipment is well maintainedoperating safely and appropriately for maximum performance and efficiency. Negotiateswith outside vendors to obtain competitive pricing and services.
  • Participates on committees and in programs for safety fire prevention disaster recoveryetc. Ensures the development of specific plans for inclusion in these programs.
  • Directs the preparation of records as well as recurring and special reports and analyses forarea(s) of responsibility ensuring that they are complete accurate and prepared on time.Reviews and interprets these in order to ascertain the extent to which goals are beingattained Takes corrective action as necessary

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Minimum Level (Necessary)
  • Education: Bachelors degree (preferably in Business) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience: Three plus years of progressively more responsible experience in managementpreferably with expertise in workflow management and mail services. Mortgage servicingor hazard insurance processing is desirable. Experience in managing large numbers ofassociates.
  • Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An understanding of humanresource policies and procedures. Working knowledge of legacy servicing systems such asAlltel or MortgageServ and client specific policies and procedures. General knowledge ofmortgage servicing and regulatory and compliance procedures. Overall business andfinancial knowledge as it relates to budgeting and operating a remote service center.
