Operations Manager

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged to recruit for an Operations Manager/Estimator in Jordan Minnesota. From commercial storefronts to residential windows our client completes an array of projects both locally and nationally. They are looking to add an Operations Manager/Estimator with strong communication skills a passion for the industry and diverse commercial glass experience to their team.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee every detail of residential and commercial glass installations from start to finish.
• Implement and administer project budgets successfully.
• Coordinate with sales personnel contractors architects other subcontractors purchasing warehouse and field personnel to ensure timely project completion.
• Estimate project costs manage job supervision and handle purchasing operations.
• Lead a team of fabricators and installers ensuring high standards of workmanship.
• Maintain strong relationships with the team and customers ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
• 5 years of commercial glass project management experience.
• Strong communication skills and proven leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Familiarity with estimating purchasing reading blueprints and calculating material takeoffs.
• Proven organizational time management and project management skills.
• Experience with software such as DeMichele or Procore is a plus.
• A continual drive for selfmotivation and a learning mentality.
