Job Summary

We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Account Officer to join our team in Ilorin.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Sage software.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Conduct monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant preferably in a similar role.

Proficiency in Sage software is a top priority.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
