Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Sr. PM must have a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years with the State of California projects performing project management tasks in support of IT projects involving the integration of multiple systems system interfaces and development of new system interfaces.

2. Sr. PM must have a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years leading large complex crossfunctional project teams. Crossfunctional project team is defined as various groups of individuals responsible for modifying and enhancing systems designed and developed using differing software languages tools frameworks and architectures coupled with individuals assigned to support various IT domains; all of which must collaborate to achieve a common goal.

3. Sr. Project Manager must have a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years leading remote team members. Remote team members are defined as individuals that are allowed to work from home or an alternate location.

4. The Senior Project Manager must have a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years with the California Project Management Framework (CAPMF) IT concepts practices and principles to provide a foundation for technology related work with emphasis on the systems development life cycle (SDLC) including planning designing developing testing and deployment.

5. The Senior Project Manager must have a current and valid Project Management Professional from PMI in good standing and provide proof of the certification.

6. The Senior Project Manager must have a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years acting as liaison between the business and the technical teams in largescale systems development and integration projects.

7. The Senior Project Manager must have a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years coordinating and gathering analysis information researching methodologies technical writing legislative report writing and planning the enhancement of a system experience.

Desirable Qualifications

1. Resource has experience researching analyzing and summarizing legislation to ensure policies reflect the statutes correctly.

2. Resource has experience and knowledge working on firearms or similar projects through legislation policy or mandates.

Notes:

Experience with State of California government is a must

Experience with projects related to firearms is a big plus ( Deal breaker )

Both roles are exactly similar Sr PM should have 7 years experience and PM should have 5 yrs experience.
