MEPQS -Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1) Quantity take off from drawings. Should have good Knowledge in Auto Cad for quantity take
off.
2) Prepare BOQ for Electrical / MEPF items based on drawings & Specification.
3) Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on drawings & Specification includes all works
also to have detailed measurements backup for Bill of Quantities and estimates.
4) Preparing Rate Analysis of Electrical / MEPF Items.
5) Should have adequate knowledge on market price makes vendors of Electrical/MEPF
materials and equipment.
6) Should have good knowledge of Market rates and vendor contacts for all Electrical related
works/MEPF Floating enquiries to vendors & contractors for pricing of Electrical Related
works such as LV/HV power Lighting Distribution Transformer & Sub Station HT Panels
LT Panels DG UPS Cables Cable trays Distribution Boards IT racks Lightening arrestor
Earthing Main power Instrumentation etc. for estimation budgeting and procurement.
7) Should be able to handle the QS Electrical/MEPF activities independently.
8) Should preferable to maintain MIS Reports of ongoing projects & regularly provide update
on the same.
9) Should be able to do written/oral communication with vendors independently with Project
Departments and Vendors.
10) Should prepare Monthly reports of the projects and update the same as per company rule.
11) Should have hand on experience in Industrial projects Project costing at different
levels/design stage
12) Should have hand on experience in billing measurement certifications and other Pre
Contract & post contract QS works.
13) Proficient in MS Office.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
1) Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
2) 35 years as a Quantity Surveyor Electrical / MEPF with QS Consultancy Firm or
Construction Companys QS Department.
3) Good communication skill in English.
