Mechanical Engineer

• Design and coordinate all mechanical distribution systems meeting project specifications
• Occasionally review and oversee layout work performed by unlicensed engineers on staff
• Occasionally manage and schedule 3D modelers/2D Drafters (VDC/BIM modelers) on staff
• Review edit and write project specifications
• Generate and/or review production submittals against project specifications
• Assisted in the estimating process for the mechanical contractor by attending walkthroughs defining scope and generating a bill of materials.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in a U.S. state.
• The candidate must have 25 years of minimum experience with a mechanical contracting company (preferred) and/or Architectural/Engineering firm.
• Experience with reviewing editing and writing project specifications
• Experience with generating and/or reviewing production submittals against project specifications
• Experience with walkthrough defining scope and generating bills of materials
• Selfdirected
• Candidate must possess strong communication skills
• Strong skills in Revit (or other compatible software) are required
