We are seeking a motivated Director Regional Controller to join our European Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Analytical & Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements management reports and financial analysis over business performance and trends
• General Ledger Accounting: Direct functions in EU (incl. A/R A/P FA accruals & restructure provisions)
• Fixed Assets: oversee company assets
• Risk Management: Identify financial & tax risks and opportunities within EU and present to management
• Cash Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting liquidity & maintain banking relationships to optimize cash utilization and mitigate risks
• Budgeting & Forecast: Lead the financial planning process for EU in alignment with corporate objectives and strategic initiatives
• Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with USGAAP SOX and other (local) regulatory requirements
• Tax Compliance: Collaborate with corporate tax directors and advisors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations (incl. planning and reporting) in various EU tax regimes
• Audits: Provide support and facilitate local and international audit processes
• Team: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals guide coach and support for high performance; cooperate with corporate BU and divisional controllers
• Special Projects: Provide info and work on special tasks given by the supervisor

Requirements :

• BA in Financial/Controlling Studies
• Knowledge and experience in USGAAP EU accounting policies & regulations
• Minimum 10 yr. of experience in accounting and financial reporting in international production companies
• Experience as legal director of EU countries.
• Experience in EU & US business culture & customs.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and European accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Manage international accounting teams remotely
• Capabilities in Microsoft Office Package ERP Systems (QAD MFG Pro an advantage)
