Job Title: Technical Manufacturing Publication Writing Manager

Location: Lake Zurich IL 60047 this is a hybrid position with 2 or more days in the office

Salary: $100K115K Depending on experience DOE plus a generous bonus

Position Requirements Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must have 5 or more years of experience in a Technical Manufacturing Publication Writing role focused on publications and content writing
• Previous management experience is highly desired although it is a handson manager
• Strong customer service skills ability to meet deadlines and leadership abilities
• Manage a team of technical writers responsible for document development content management and web management
• Drive the modernization of technical content architecture and develop a strategic plan for its implementation
• Collaborate with product development teams and act as a key stakeholder for technical literature
• Coordinate literature updates based on release notices and engineering changes
• Supervise translations printing and electronic parts catalog web publications
• Participate in addressing inquiries from distributors dealers field personnel and customers
