MRO Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for providing equipment materials and supplies by directing the ordering receiving warehousing and distribution services. This also includes the supervising and management of warehouse staff such that proper inventories can be maintained to ensure availability of equipment materials and supplies for safe continuous & reliable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and guides warehouse operations through direct supervision of employees.
• Ensures a safe work environment within the warehouse buildings (e.g. shelving) & outside storage areas and maintains a clean orderly condition.
• Ensures that all equipment materials and supplies are properly received inspected and inventoried per warehouse procedures.
• Ensures warehouse employees follow facility procedures with respect to FIFO cycle counts and documentation of all items received or distributed.
• Ensures that all incoming materials are checked against purchase orders and inspected in accordance with warehouse procedures.
• Ensures proper storage of materials.
• Collaborates with Maintenance Planners to kit & stage parts/materials for scheduled Work Orders.
• Ensures that equipment and supplies are properly distributed to authorized persons and as applicable complies with the material verification policy & procedure.
• Maintains inventory levels via monitoring/adhering to Reorder Points & Reorder Quantities.
• Maintains Item Master Data to include assignment of storage locations for all items maintained within warehouse control as well as item descriptions.

• Performs cycle counts and warehouse audits as required by Finance procedures or facility management.
• Assists Site Procurement Manager in the review and disposition of excess & obsolete inventory.
• Oversees process for outgoing shipments.
