Job Title: Echocardiograph Technologist Cardiac Imaging

Location: Louisville KY 40202

Shift Details:

• Shift: Night Shift (3 days per week)
• Hours: 19:00 07:00 (12hour shifts)
• Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Only Travelers are defined as those staying more than 75 miles from the facility. The allinclusive hourly nonlocal pay rate for this position is $52.41 which includes a taxable wage of $39.66 and a per diem of $12.75.

Responsibilities:

• Perform highquality echocardiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Analyze and evaluate echocardiographic data providing preliminary findings to physicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with cardiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in echocardiography and cardiac imaging.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of an accredited program in echocardiography or cardiovascular technology.
• Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Prior experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiographic procedures.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment and related technology.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret echocardiographic data.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods assist in patient positioning and handle equipment.
