Slip Seat ShuttleSpotter Driver

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Slip Seat Shuttle/Spotter Driver to join our team. This role involves shuttling and spotting trailers between plants in Gainesville GA. The position operates on a 24/7 schedule with shifts divided between fulltime weekday drivers and parttime weekend drivers. Attendance is crucial to ensure smooth operations.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: Fulltime two drivers per shift from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
• Saturday and Sunday: Parttime one driver per shift from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Pay:
  • 1st shift (weekday): $25/hr
  • 2nd shift (weekday): $26/hr
  • 1st shift (weekend): $26/hr
  • 2nd shift (weekend): $27/hr
• Pay Increases: Annual review
• Holiday Pay: $150 per day
• Vacation Pay: Average pay over the previous 52 weeks

Job Responsibilities:

• Shuttle and spot trailers between plants as directed
• Operate within a slip seat arrangement
• Maintain high attendance and punctuality to support 24/7 operations
• Ensure safety and efficiency in all shuttle and spotting activities

Average Weekly Hours and Pay:

• FullTime: 60 hours per week averaging $1500 per week
• PartTime: 24 hours per week averaging $640 per week

Drivers will park onsite and return home daily ensuring a good worklife balance. This role does not require driver unloading. The position is essential for maintaining continuous operations in our Gainesville GA planttoplant shuttling and spotting activities.
