Senior Civil Engineer

Our client a construction firm based in Lebanon and KSA is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Civil Engineer in Beirut Lebanon to join their estimation department. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success with 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in civil engineering with a focus on managing and overseeing complex construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of civil engineering projects including planning design procurement construction and closeout ensuring adherence to project schedules budgets and quality standards.

• Design Oversight: Provide technical expertise and guidance in the development of engineering designs drawings specifications and calculations for various civil infrastructure projects such as roads bridges utilities and site development.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of junior and midlevel engineers technicians and support staff fostering their professional growth and development.

• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients stakeholders and regulatory agencies managing relationships addressing concerns and providing regular project updates and progress reports.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects develop mitigation strategies and proactively resolve issues to minimize delays cost overruns and disputes.

• Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Implement quality assurance and quality control measures to verify compliance with engineering standards codes and specifications conducting reviews inspections and testing as necessary.

• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates budget forecasts and financial analyses for civil engineering projects tracking expenses and managing project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations permits and environmental requirements applicable to civil engineering projects obtaining approvals and permits as needed.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends technological advancements and best practices in civil engineering fostering a culture of innovation excellence and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a focus on managing and delivering construction projects of varying size and complexity.

• Strong technical proficiency in civil engineering principles practices and design standards with expertise in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and project management software.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively leading multidisciplinary teams managing project stakeholders and achieving project objectives.

• Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong problemsolving skills and decisionmaking abilities with the capacity to analyze issues evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions.

• Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality work meeting project deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
