Print Production Specialist - Over Time and Weekend Shift

This is an After 6:00 PM weekdays and weekend shift opportunity with the following schedule:

• Weekdays 6:00 pm 9:00 pm (3 hours x 5 Days)
• Saturday 7:30 am 7:30 pm (12 hours)
• Sunday is optional

The Lead Printing Operator leads a press team to operate highspeed multicolor printing presses. The operator is responsible for setting up and adjusting the press to reproduce highquality trade show prints. Operators must understand ink systems well and be able to judge and interpret color balance standards. The lead printing operator will be required to manage the press efficiently and monitor diagnose and correct printing and mechanicalrelated issues.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a Printing Operator
• Ability to grasp lift and carry items weighing up to 2550 lbs. frequently and 50 100 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to pass a color perception test. Testing must be on file.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong mechanical skills and computer skills
• Possess good knowledge of inks color and their effect in printing and attaining the correct reproduction of the product.
• Good analytical skills to assist in making adjustments to the ink to achieve appropriate color
• Experience with liquid inks preferred
• Ability to problemsolve technical issues and provide recommendations
• Selfdirected and selfmotivated with a proven work ethic and ability to perform under pressure to reorganize and change directions when necessary
• Work includes overtime as required during peak seasons
