We are looking for a Senior GCP Lead who will be responsible for data warehouse and data lake implementations particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in transforming traditional ETL processes using tools such as Informatica Talend or DataStage into modern cloudnative solutions using Dataflow and Dataproc integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• 810 years of experience in data warehouse and data lake implementations.
• 35 years of handson experience with Google Cloud Platform particularly BigQuery.
• Proven experience in migrating ETL jobs from traditional tools (Informatica Talend DataStage) to cloudnative solutions (Dataflow Dataproc).
• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and their data services.
• Knowledge of other ETL tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling database design and data warehousing concepts.
• Design develop and deploy data integration and data extraction solutions using IBM DataStage or other leading ETL tools.
• Implement and optimize data warehouse solutions leveraging platforms like Teradata and Google BigQuery.
• Migrate ETL processes from Informatica Talend or DataStage to Google Cloud Platform services like Dataflow and Dataproc.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of data pipelines and ETL jobs.
• Utilize Linux/Unix shell scripting and SQL for data processing and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex data engineering issues.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data modeling database design and data warehousing principles.
• Participate actively in Agile development methodologies including sprint planning daily standups and retrospective meetings.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
