Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient consultations and health evaluations
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and medical imaging
• Diagnosing and treating various acute and chronic illnesses
• Developing and overseeing personalized treatment plans
• Monitoring and managing chronic conditions such as diabetes hypertension etc.
• Providing patient education on preventive care and overall wellness
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participating in multidisciplinary medical rounds and case discussions
• Staying updated with medical advancements and best practices
• Adhering to medical ethics and legal regulations in healthcare
• Maintaining accurate and updated medical records
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
• Providing mentorship and guidance to medical residents and interns
• Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patient care
• Participating in oncall duties as necessary

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine
• Valid state medical license and board certification
• Proven experience as an MD Medicine Physician or in a similar role
• Indepth understanding of internal medicine principles and practices
• Strong diagnostic expertise and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
