Location: USA/Mexico/Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a PostgreSQL Database (Google cloud database) Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for enhancing and supporting our organizations PostgreSQL database infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT team and stakeholders to identify design and implement database enhancements.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors in a timely manner.
• Perform database migration tasks including data extraction transformation and loading.
• Develop and maintain database documentation including data models and entity relationship diagrams.
• Support the development team in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database access.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvement.
• Understanding network and network operation is plus.

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with PostgreSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques
• Experience with database tools and utilities such as pgAdmin psql and pgbouncer
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and triggers.
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and monitoring tools
• Understanding of database security and data protection best practices
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
