Title: DERMS Support Tech Lead

Location: Oakland CA

Duration : FullTime Role

Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Provide primary technology support for the DERMS platform.

Lead a team of resources in supporting the application and platform in DERMS

Manage and deploy vendor application updates (patches hotfixes) along with system level upgrades

Manage and support data refresh and application configurations for production

Operate/Maintain system integrations DERMS Exporter/ Weather API/Project activities

Build and deploy DERMS platform components in Hybrid Cloud environments (AWS)

Enable DERMS interfaces between Cloud and Onprem using APIs and ESET

Work with infrastructure team to enable end to end connectivity including firewalls and load Participate in product testing and platform documentation.

Design and deploy enhancements to existing systems ensuring compatibility and interoperability

Roles & Responsibilities

Owns overall support and functional design.

Identifies appropriate application configuration based on customer needs.

Define overall data management strategy and approach.

Identifies appropriate value models as per customer needs.

Guide customer to find best practices on asset investment planning and optimization.

Identify customer needs to build necessary integrations.

Generic Managerial Skills

Good understanding of Utilities business processes and investment requirements with respect to DERMS Management.

Good knowledge and experience with defining workflow processes for the entire investment Lifecycle

Good understanding of the reporting and integration requirements from the business

Knowledge of agile way of developing solutions.

Good Analytical Capabilities

Team Management Skills

Excellent interpersonal skill to deal with customer to provide best possible solution for them.
