Junior Production Materials Planner

Our client is seeking a Junior Production / Materials Planner who will be responsible for the production planning scheduling and inventory control of products assigned. You will monitor performance levels ensuring on time deliveries quality products and reduced lead times and cost reduction. t

To be successful in this position:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Operations or Engineering preferred will consider an Associates degree.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing and or materials control in manufacturing preferred. Will consider good skills in an different industry.
• Experience with MRP / ERP Systems to purchase plan and allocate materials and log issues and coordinate movement of materials from vendors to ensure shipped on time and meeting dock requirements.
• Manage demand including reschedules to support customers and or business requirements.
• Expedite deferrals and cancellations per the system and assist engineers with cost estimates.
• Other duties will be assigned as needed.

Location: Willoughby OH

Salary: commensurate based on experience.
