Position: Shipping and Receiving Worker
Location: Bothell WA 98021
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility to convert to fulltime depending on performance and business need)
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling all aspects of shipping and receiving goods ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role involves coordinating shipments managing inventory and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Accurately record and manage inventory of all received goods.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments including packaging labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics companies for timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform regular inventory audits and assist with stocktaking activities.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse background.
- Must have experience in shipping domestically and internationally.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Excel and navigating through a computer system
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
