IT System Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

• Provide comprehensive support to users on hardware software and network issues.
  
• Diagnose and resolve IT issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  
• Engage with thirdparty vendors for support services.
  

Installation and Configuration:

• Install configure and maintain operating systems software and peripheral devices.
  
• Manage and maintain internal cloud systems (Microsoft 365 SharePoint Azure Zoho Suite).
  

System Maintenance:

• Conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities and optimize performance.
  
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades.
  

User Management:

• Set up and manage user accounts and profiles.
  
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
  

Continuous Learning:

• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 35 years of experience in technical support
  
• Matric
  
• A and N Certificates or other relevant technology certifications.
  
• ITIL Foundation
  
• Exposure to cloud technology
  
• Intro to Project Management
