Accounting Manager mfd

We are partnering with a global supplier to the airlines. They help the airlines to handle and streamline their cargo handling. Due to a reorganisation and growth in the German market they are recruiting an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to join their office by the Frankfurt airport. This is a permanent role and offered as hybrid (2 days office per week and 3 days homeoffice).

Tasks

As the new Accounting Manager you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller also based in Frankfurt. The focus is on the accountancy and finance for the German entities but will also include some work internationally with the branches abroad.

Daytoday tasks will include:

• Manage accounts payable accounts receivable
• Prepare monthend and quarterly reports
• Manage cash flow analysis and projections
• Help to develop and improve the financial systems and accountancy processes within the company
• Be the point of contact for local German auditors manage financial statement reporting VAT reporting and coordinate local tax returns

Requirements

The new Accounting Manager should have prior experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a handson mentality be proactive and selfmotivated.

Your Profile:

• A business or finance degree or other related qualification (Ausbildung zum Finanzbuchhalter (M/F/D))
• Prior experience in a similar accountancy role and/ or finance management
• Strong command of both German and English
• Experience working in a B2B environment and ideally in an international company
