Job Description
- The successful candidate will have extensive handson experience with Alation and a good understanding of Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC).
- The role involves working closely with a small Back Office (BOH) team to implement and maintain effective data governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Governance Implementation:
- Collaborate with the BOH team to develop and enable data governance processes.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and best practices.
- Alation Expertise:
- Utilize extensive handson experience with Alation to manage and enhance the data catalogue.
- Support data discovery cataloguing and metadata management activities.
- Informatica CDGC:
- Apply knowledge of Informatica CDGC to support potential future data governance initiatives (preferred but not mandatory).
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work effectively as part of a small team providing support and guidance on data governance issues.
- Offshore candidates must work US West Coast hours to ensure seamless support and collaboration with the onshore team.
Qualifications:
- Proven handson experience with Alation.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Informatica CDGC is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work US West Coast hours if based offshore.

- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a global team setting.
