Our client is engaged in the development of a biomass power plant project aimed at generating renewable energy and it involves the construction and operation of a biomass power plant facility with the capacity to produce electricity.

Job Summary:

A Procurement Officer is involved with the Procurement Team on plant and Procurement Manager related to the plan of goods needs the implementation of procurement of goods delivery and management of goods assets. Their job involves purchase administration searches for potential vendors negotiation quality control process when receiving goods until make purchase report

Job Description

• Coordinate with the Procurement Team on plant and Procurement Manager related to the plan of goods needs the implementation of procurement of goods delivery and management of goods assets
• Conducting searches for potential vendors both domestically and internationally
• Carry out procurement procedures to support field operations
• Comply with and implement quality management procedures policies and strategies during the procurement process
• Communicate with vendors regarding quote requests
• Negotiate with vendors to get the best quality delivery and price
• Make a comparative analysis of vendor prices and quality as recommendations in vendor selection
• Make a request for goods through the companys software
• Responsible for the quality control process when receiving goods
• Create product purchase reports in terms of qualifications shipping information invoices and payments

Qualification

• Male maximum age 35 years old
• Have a bachelors degree in electrical/industrial engineering/logistic/supply chain management or a relevant major
• Have a minimum of 24 years of experience as a procurement or similar position
• Have knowledge of the procurement flow of goods in the company
• Familiar with Accurate software is a plus
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Can speak Mandarin (will be a plus)
• Mastering operational software and Ms. Office (especially Ms. Excel)
• Have strong systematic analytical and administrative thinking skills
• Have good communication and negotiation skills
• Responsive energetic and open to new things
• Be detailoriented and wellorganized
• Honest integrity and have a high sense of responsibility
• Willing to be placed on plant
