Overview:
The Housekeeping Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness hygiene and overall appearance of the facility. This position is crucial in maintaining a positive and safe environment for both guests and staff. The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for various cleaning tasks and providing support to the housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as Bad Making Room Cleaning vacuuming dusting mopping and laundry
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas Restaurant Pool including hallways and restrooms
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stocked and maintained
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Follow established procedures for waste management and disposal
- Support any additional housekeeping duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and products
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work in shifts including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
