Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance costeffectiveness
• Source and evaluate vendors based on quality cost and delivery speed
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs
• Track and analyze procurement data and prepare reports on key metrics
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery
• Implement and maintain procurement best practices and policies
• Oversee compliance with procurement regulations and ethical standards
• Resolve vendor or contract disputes and issues
• Ensure timely payment and invoicing processes
• Forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products
• Participate in budgeting and cost optimization processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
• Proven work experience as a Procurement Officer Purchasing Agent or similar role
• Demonstrated knowledge of procurement processes policies and procedures
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in ERP and procurement software
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of inventory control and supply chain principles
• Working knowledge of contract management and legal aspects in procurement
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
• Proactive and strategic thinker with a problemsolving mindset
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards in purchasing and procurement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
