Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in DC MD VA WV PA DE NJ NC TX FL NY)

Project Summary

is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support the implementation 24x7 operational support automation availability and performance management of CareFirsts public cloud platforms. (80% Azure /10% AWS/10% Oracle Cloud).

Essential Functions

This infrastructure supports critical applications including Claims Processing Enrollment Financial and Portal Websites. Responsible for supporting the evaluation of application and infrastructure cloud readiness and work on the cloud migration plan to support onpremise migration to a cloud service

Top Five Skills Required

7 years of IT infrastructure and administration experience
Handson experience as a Cloud Systems Engineer (Storage Network Backup Database Support) Azure VM experience required
PowerShell scripting experience
Broad foundational IT skillset including supporting Azure Cloud services Linux/Windows Operating Systems server configurations (including networking storage and security principals)

Nice to have skills

Azure Architect certification Active Azure Administrator certification or Azure Cloud Fundamentals certification
Prior healthcare payer experience
