Accounts Payable Manager

An Accounts Payable Manager is needed to join one of Britains most prestigious private members clubs on a permanent basis. Expect to lead the charge in their Procure to Pay process! You will ensure timely and precise invoice handling cultivate strong supplier and interdepartmental relationships and inspire the accounts payable team.

Situated in 42 acres of landscaped grounds adjacent to the River Thames in Fulham the Club is recognised as one of the worlds finest private member clubs. Since its opening in 1869 the Clubs croquet and tennis lawns botanical gardens and stately Georgian Clubhouse have made it a soughtafter destination for exclusive sporting and social activities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance the Accounts Payable Manager will drive efficient payment processing maintain smooth purchase ledger operations and ensure compliance with the Clubs policies. Youll lead and mentor the accounts payable team implementing effective procedures and managing workflow. Your role includes accurate and timely invoice processing resolving discrepancies and nurturing strong supplier and interdepartmental relationships. Youll ensure compliance with regulations prepare accounts payable reports and support monthend closing processes. Additionally youll identify process improvements optimise accounting systems manage the accounts payable budget monitor cash flow and assist with audits.

To qualify... You should be an Accounts Payable Manager / Accounts Payable Supervisor / Procurement to Pay Manager / Payment Services Manager or similar with a CV that can demonstrates:

• You are fully or partially AAT qualified or possess a finance/accounting certification.
• Experience in a similar role; supervisory or management experience is highly desirable.
• A robust understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail high level of accuracy and strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Experience with Exchequer iCompleat or other PurchasetoPay software is a distinct advantage.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
