Position: MRI Tech

Location: Fairbanks AK

Environment: Inpatient/ED

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 16 weeks

Schedule Details: 3 12hour shifts per week (Betweenand) variable days of the week

Hours per Week: 36

Shift and Time: 3 12hour shifts during the day

Weekend Rotation: As needed; may work on Saturdays

Oncall Requirements: Sundays and Holidays from 7 AM to 10 PM

Holiday Requirements: As needed; may work up to every holiday and surrounding days

Floating Requirements: None

Experience Required:

• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital setting
• 1 year of travel experience
• Must have experience with Siemens equipment

Experience Preferred:

• Cardiac experience
• Knowledge of anesthesia cases and pacemakers

Licenses Required: None

Certificates Required:

• BLS
• ARRT with MRI registry

Equipment: Siemens Avanto 1.5T

Orientation: Minimum 1 week (5 8hour shifts)

Additional Notes:

• 12 techs working in the unit at any given time
• Free housing provided (1 bedroom nonpet units not shared unless requested)
