Job Description: Sales Executive (Field Work)

Position: Sales Executive Industry: Field Work Sales Salary Range: 12000 to 15000 in hand

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies:

    • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential markets customer needs and competitive landscape. Use this information to create targeted sales strategies.
      • Example: If you're targeting retailers understand their buying patterns preferences and challenges. This helps tailor your pitch and product offerings to meet their specific needs.
    • Strategy Formulation: Develop comprehensive sales plans that outline objectives target markets and tactics to achieve sales goals.
      • Example: Plan to introduce a new product by organizing a series of demonstrations at key retail locations to showcase its benefits.
    • Execution: Implement these strategies by coordinating with marketing teams for promotional materials and campaigns and by directly engaging with prospective clients through calls emails and facetoface meetings.
      • Example: Use a mix of cold calls followup emails and inperson visits to ensure a consistent approach to converting leads into sales.
  2. Expanding Market Reach:

    • Identifying Opportunities: Look for new business opportunities by analyzing sales data market trends and feedback from existing clients.
      • Example: Identify regions where sales are low but have a high potential for growth due to demographic factors.
    • Network Building: Establish connections with industry influencers attend trade shows and participate in networking events to increase brand visibility and open new sales channels.
      • Example: Attend a local agricultural fair to meet potential clients in the vegetable and fruit retail sector.
    • Collaborations: Partner with other businesses or organizations to create joint ventures or promotional offers that can attract more customers.
      • Example: Collaborate with a grocery store chain to offer exclusive discounts on bulk purchases.
  3. Maintaining Strong Relationships with Clients and Retailers:

    • Regular Communication: Maintain regular contact with existing clients to understand their needs address any issues and keep them informed about new products or promotions.
      • Example: Schedule monthly checkins with key retailers to discuss their stock levels and any new product needs.
    • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client queries and resolving complaints.
      • Example: Ensure that any issues related to product quality or delivery are resolved swiftly to maintain client satisfaction.
    • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients and retailers to understand their experience and identify areas for improvement.

  4. Sales Reporting:

    • Documentation: Keep detailed records of all sales activities including customer interactions sales achieved and any followup actions required.
      • Example: Use CRM software to log interactions and set reminders for followup meetings or calls.
    • Performance Analysis: Regularly review sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make necessary adjustments.
      • Example: Analyze quarterly sales reports to identify trends successful strategies and areas needing improvement.
  5. Achieving Sales Targets:

    • Goal Setting: Set realistic and achievable sales targets for different periods (monthly quarterly annually) based on market analysis and past performance.

    • Motivation: Stay motivated and keep a positive attitude even in challenging situations to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  2. Experience: Prior experience in sales preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and retailers.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  5. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data market trends and customer feedback to inform strategies.
  6. SelfMotivation: Highly selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork and meet clients in various locations.
  8. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software MS Office and other salesrelated tools.
