Hiring legal manager for Mohali location .

Responsibilities:
Provide legal guidance and support to various departments within the organization including but not limited to operations finance compliance and risk management. Review and draft legal documents contracts agreements and policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the NBFC sector and provide timely updates and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed and manage legal proceedings including litigation arbitration and regulatory inquiries.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues and provide clear and concise advice to stakeholders.
Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures.
Participate in due diligence activities for potential transactions mergers and acquisitions.
Train and educate employees on legal and compliance matters to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; Masters degree or specialized certification in financial law or related field preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law with a focus on financial services and regulatory compliance.
Indepth knowledge of NBFC regulations including RBI guidelines and SEBI regulations. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing legal matters and providing strategic advice to senior management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
