Our client a leading private day nursery in Horsforth Leeds is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Room Leader to join their team in the Babies Room.
About Our Client:
Our client is a unique nursery that provides an exceptional learning environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. They believe in the power of outdoor play and nature and their curriculum is inspired by Scandinavian Forest School philosophies. Their idyllic setting includes a nature reserve yurt outdoor classroom and nearby woodland offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.
About the Role:
As Deputy Room Leader in the Babies Room you will play a vital role in supporting the Room Leader and ensuring the smooth running of the room providing a safe stimulating and nurturing environment for our youngest children. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Room Leader in the planning and delivery of a highquality curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Taking the lead of the Babies Room in the Room Leaders absence.
- Providing sensitive care and support to babies including nappy changing feeding and sleep routines.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical cognitive social and emotional development.
- Observing and assessing babies progress documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers keeping them informed about their childs progress.
- Supervising and supporting other Early Years Educators in the room.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety of the room environment.
