Senior Project Manager

Experience: This classification requires a minimum of 15 years of broad extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles methods techniques and tools. At least four 10 years of that

experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects.

Education: This classification requires the possession of (a) a bachelors degree and (b) a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) which will be

verified during the Request for Offer (RFO) process. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a yearfor year basis. The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with

additional experience.

Classification Project Manager

Experience: This classification requires a minimum of 10 years of broad extensive and increasingly responsible Project Manager experience applying project management principles methods techniques and tools.

At least three 7 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

Education: This classification requires the possession of (a) a bachelors degree and (b) a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) which will be verified during the RFO process.

1. Three (3) years of experience within the last ten (10) years leading and managing various project team sizes on large and complex IT system development projects.

2. Three (3) years within the last ten (10) years of experience with either agile or hybrid agile software development processes used to develop or implement an automated solution.

3. Two (2) years of experience in the last ten (10) years developing and/or facilitating review and approval of project management plans and deliverables for large and complex IT system development projects for government agencies.

4. Three (3) years of experience within the last ten (10) years facilitating change control management processes in large and complex IT system implementations for government agencies.

5. Two (2) years of experience within the last ten (10) years assisting with converting and migrating legacy data on a large and complex IT system project.

Large and Complex IT System development project definition:

• At least $20M in total application development project cost.
• A solution that has at least one hundred (100) internal end users and one hundred thousand (100000) external users.
• A solution that provides a secure data exchange interface with multiple external systems.
