Microcaps is a fastpaced vibrant company dedicated to shaping the future of microencapsulation technology across multiple industries. We are currently at an exciting stage as we build capacity to bring our first commercial products to the market at scale.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our highly energetic and ambitious team. Microcaps is currently building capacity to produce ethanol free perfume products using our patented Microencapsulation technology. We are working in partnership with some of the most exciting names in the industry and we are already looking to expand capacity beyond our stage 1 footprint. Beyond Fine Fragrance we are also working on projects in the cosmetics food and pharmaceutical markets.

The Impact

In this role you will be responsible for all product costing and a critical part of the pricing team. The financial management of our production operations will sit in your hands. You will develop and maintain financial models and manage the rolling forecast process and working closely with the tight crossfunctional team you will be a key advisor to leadership.

Tasks

• Costing for all production processes.
• Set and monitor pricing and margins with the commercial team.
• Assist engineering team with business cases.
• Monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Managing the rolling forecast process.
• Provide financial guidance and support to cross functional teams.
• Implementation of relevant financial controls.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Have a 5 years background in management accounting /financial controlling in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have experienced in using an ERP system of any type and be great with excel.
• Budgeting and forecasting skills (P&L Balance sheet Cash flow)
• Knowledge of Internal controls
• Financially analytical
• Knowledge of IFRS US GAAP or Swiss FER
• You are a selfstarter and problem solver.
• You engage well with people and are curious and ready to learn.
• Possess a work permit in Switzerland.

Bonus Points:

• Ability to communicate financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Feel comfortable communicating in both German and English.
