Overview:
Our client is a fastgrowing market leader in Food Ingredient Solutions in Malaysia producing Flour Mix Seasoning Sauce etc looking to expand its business through product expansion and venture into new markets.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales target achievement (local and overseas) for the entire organization working with other Sales managers and team members.
- Provide technical support to sales team during client conversations to help convert the leads generated to closed deals.
- Partake in seminars technical presentations and lead generation. Understand customer needs and manage the lead/enquiry general process via consultative and solutionbased selling.
- Develop new market segments within the company with a business partnership capacity.
- Develop strong working relationships with consultants contractors OEM and dealers as required.
- Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
- Develop and promote weekly monthly and quarterly sales objectives measured through detailed and accurate sales reports.
- Work with customers to understand their business needs better and goals.
- Assess costs competition and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
- Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
- Establish a sales training program to train new employees and coach the team on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in marketing business administration or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 68 years of experience in a similar role within a technical sales field using a consultative selling approach.
- Indepth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices especially as used by competition and key industry players.
- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills to drive target achievement with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
