Commercial Project Manager - New Build

Our fastgrowing builder/developer client is looking to add a Sr. Project Manager leader to spearhead their influx of commercial projects. You will oversee project planning scheduling budgeting implementation estimating & client management.

Your Future Day to Day Career Opportunity Awaits:

You will be the face of our projects and our brand as you educate and chair client progress meetings.

Oversee all aspects of the construction projects from planning to implementation

Allocate resources for assigned projects

Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors

Interface with project inspectors contractors architects engineers city and county officials and clients

Tender & Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Putting together quantity takeoffs and costing with owner to select the best cost effective material.

Value engineering to provide as much value to Sr. Management as possible

Requirements

What Wed Like to See:

10 years of previous experience in commercial construction.

Youre familiar with managing projects scope of at least $25M in construction costs.

You work speaks for itself and you have raving reviews from previous clients.

You thrive on taking on new challenges and jump at the opportunity to learn new areas of the business.

You bring superior communication and negotiation skills.

You are ready to take on leading a team or you have past colleagues calling you for advice and your expertise.

You have a keen attention to contract details and schedules that you can easily spot errors

You love taking ownership of your projects and feeling the sense of accomplishment once youve completed it.

Your tracking and reporting skills are updated and organized in an effective manner to be able to successfully track multiple projects.

You have superior knowledge of the Ontario building code especially part 3 &9.

You are intimately familiar with Tarion guidelines condo registration and structural building envelope.
