Animation Team Lead

About the role

As the Animator Team Lead at Booming Games youll oversee the creative and technical aspects of 2D animation production. Your role involves setting clear direction optimizing workflows and collaborating with both inhouse and outsourced teams to deliver exceptional animations that elevate our gaming experience to new heights!

Responsibilities

• Lead the animation team within Booming Games Art department work lead and educate the in house animators in order to deliver creatively and technically stellar 2D animations.
• Drive and own animations design and implementation
• Set clear animation direction for the projects as per games specification and the stakeholder feedback.
• Participate in various production milestones and work with Project Managers to estimate the effort for your department and resources on various projects.
• Apply technical knowledge in use of the Spine tool to create and optimize 2d animations.
• Work with the outsourcer animation delivery and create the standards for animations reception from the 3rd party studios.
• Apply your creativity and technical knowledge to bring Booming Games animation quality to the next level.
• Explore and use any generative tools that can streamline the animations production process.

Requirements

• Experience in 2D animation production and team leadership
• Proficiency in animation software like Spine.
• Strong creativity and design skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Adaptability to industry trends and technologies.
• Bachelors degree in Animation or related field.
• A robust portfolio showcasing animation work and leadership capabilities.
