We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in rual facility in Western Alaska. Come be apart of a great team and wonderful team culture!
Relocation Bonus: $15000
Pharmacist Required Duties:
Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Provide medication counseling and education to patients
Monitor patients response to medication therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed
Utilize utilization management techniques to optimize medication use and control costs
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and standards
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives
Adhere to aseptic technique when preparing sterile products
Pharmacist Required Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Current state pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting preferably in pain management or critical care
Strong knowledge of acute pain management principles and practices
Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy software systems for medication order entry and clinical documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
