Nexter Nursery Recruitment is seeking dedicated and qualified Nursery Nurses to join our team on an agency basis working with exceptional nurseries across Leeds.
Job Description:
In this exciting role youll play a vital role in fostering a safe stimulating and nurturing environment for children of all ages. Your flexible work schedule allows you to choose shifts that fit your lifestyle with a minimum of 8 hours per week (1 shift). Heres what youll be doing:
- Providing sensitive care and support to children including nappy changing feeding and toileting routines.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical cognitive social and emotional development aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observing and assessing childrens progress maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with room staff.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers keeping them informed about their childs progress.
- Adapting to different classroom routines and age groups demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.
Requirements
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
Minimum of 3 months experience working in a nursery setting (if no formal qualification).
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
The ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to different environments.
