Lead Test consultant

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Lead Test consultant for our organization.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

• Design and develop test plans and test cases using Gherkin syntax to ensure coverage of all scenarios.
  
• Collaborate with the development teams to understand product requirements and ensure tests reflect user needs.
  
• Test Implementation and Execution:
  
• Implement tests within Azure DevOps pipelines ensuring integration and deployment processes are robust and efficient.
  
• Using Azure Databricks to set up data simulations and environments for thorough testing of datadriven applications.
  

Continuous Integration and Deployment:

• Integrate and manage testing frameworks in Azure DevOps for continuous testing and deployment.
  
• Monitor and enhance the performance of the CI/CD pipeline focusing on test automation and execution efficiency.
  

Quality Assurance and Reporting:

• Analyze test results document issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
  
• Produce clear and concise test reports for management and crossfunctional teams.
  
• Innovation and Improvement:
  
• Research new testing tools methodologies and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings providing feedback and suggestions for product quality improvement.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:
Education & Certification:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  
• Certifications in Quality Assurance and software testing are highly desirable.
  

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Testing Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on automation.
  
• Handson experience with Gherkin Azure DevOps and Azure Databricks.
  
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
  

Skills:

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
  
• Ability to write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and cases.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
