Rehabilitation provides short and longterm nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in our community. Rehabilitation is fully committed to providing our residents and employees with a true family homelike setting where all employees look forward to going to work to provide the highest quality health care services possible.

Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and shortterm patients. If CFY must be under supervision as needed from the SLP clinical supervisor (SLP clinical supervisor available upon starting).
• Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.
• Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory licensing facility and payor requirements.
• Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner using good infection prevention methods.
• Provide and document patient family and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patients specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
• Maintain productivity standards as expected by Director of Rehab or Administrator.

Education Experience and Licensing Requirements:

• Current Texas licensure as a Speech Therapist or Speech Therapy CFY
