POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the direction of the CFO the Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information. Clear and concise communication will be key in this role as they will often need to provide and request information to external investors and banks. Reporting directly to the CFO the Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Effective communication skills are key as this role involves liaising with external investors and banks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Analyzing KPI Trends: Delve into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) particularly financial metrics like sales and profit margins to uncover insights.

• Monitoring Variances: Keep a close eye on KPIs swiftly identifying and investigating any unexpected differences.

• Financial Planning: Develop and refine budgeting financial projections and operating forecasts.

• Adhoc Reporting: Provide adhoc reports on business performance to support decisionmaking.

• Implementing Business Intelligence Tools: Introduce and manage business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.

• Financial Modeling: Develop and analyze financial models to support strategic initiatives.

• Supporting Management: Collaborate with the management team and Heads of Department providing datadriven analysis.

• Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with banking covenants and manage investor statements and records.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Five years of professional experience as an accountant auditor or financial analyst.
• Experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) software: Sage Intacct Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Prior residential real estate experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of systems analysis big data analysis principles and project management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
