Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the PE department providing strategic vision and direction
• Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum
• Organize and oversee school sporting events competitions and extracurricular activities
• Coach school sports teams and encourage student participation
• Evaluate and assess student performance in PE
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate physical activity into the school curriculum
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialization in Physical Education or a related field
• Proven experience teaching PE preferably in a leadership role
• Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
• Excellent knowledge of sports and physical education programs
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in organizing sporting events and competitions
• Ability to coach school sports teams
• Commitment to student achievement and holistic development
