About EDGE Tutor International:
In 2023 Edge Tutor spun out of Edukasyon.ph to focus entirely on its mission of offering an exceptional online tutoring service. The team at Edge Tutor comprises industry experts with decades of experience working with some of the worlds most prominent online tutoring companies such as Education First VIPKID 51Talk and AllRight. Moreover the team members hold qualifications and training from distinguished institutions such as Cambridge University and Trinity College London.
About the Role:
We are looking for an SEO specialist consultant who will be collaborating closely with the Marketing team to enhance our online presence and drive organic growth. As an SEO specialist at Edge Tutor International you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our digital assets for search engines improving search rankings and driving organic traffic.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and drive traffic to our website.
- Perform keyword research and analysis to identify content opportunities and improve existing content.
- Monitor and report on website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with the content team to optimize onpage SEO elements including meta tags headers and content structure.
- Stay uptodate with SEO trends algorithm changes and industry best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective.
Work Setup:
- Number of hours required per week: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
- Work arrangement: Parttime consultant role with flexibility in work hours.
Skills and Experience Required for this Role:
- Proven experience as an SEO specialist with a track record of improving organic search rankings.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs SEMrush or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of onpage and offpage SEO optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS is a plus.
- SEO certifications or relevant training is preferred.
