Geography teacher- Wonderful school in East Sussex- April start

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver wellstructured geography lessons in line with the schools curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and engages students
• Assess and monitor student progress providing timely feedback and support for improvement
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote inclusivity
• Incorporate innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to design crosscurricular projects and activities
• Attend staff meetings parentteacher conferences and other school events as required

Requirements

• Hold a valid teaching qualification and have experience teaching geography at the primary or secondary level
• Demonstrate a deep passion for geography and a strong subject knowledge
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students parents and colleagues
• Have a proven track record of delivering highquality teaching and achieving positive outcomes for students
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current educational practices and trends
• Have the ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one before starting employment
