Job Description For Senior Software Developer (DEV L3)

Senior Software Developer (DEV L3) is an experienced professional responsible for more complex tasks and projects. They should provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team. They should also conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices. They should collaborate with product managers to define software requirements. They also should be able to mentor the team of associate software developers and Software developers i.e. DEV 1 and DEV 2.

In addition to L1 and L2 responsibilities the Senior Software Developer (DEV L3) will:

• Expert knowledge of backend coding technologies and Linux servers along with frontend technologies.
  
• Should be able to mentor a team of developers providing guidance and support in project execution.
  
• Troubleshoot test and debug Pabbly Connect bugs to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Architect and design complex software components.
  
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to technical decisionmaking.
  
• Review and approve code written by other developers.
  
• Knowledge of security best practices and threat modelling.
  
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  
• Monitor team performance track project progress and report key metrics to management
  
  

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in working with Pabbly Connect or any automation tool.
  
• 4 6 years of relevant experience.
  
• Proficient in PHP and experience with frameworks like CodeIgniter version 4.
  
• Experience in MySQL database management.
  
• Strong proficiency with CSS HTML JavaScript jQuery Ajax and Bootstrap.
  
• A person who is good with documentation and eager to learn new technologies would be perfect for this role.

They should design, code, and modify software applications according to specifications. They should also collaborate with the cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA. They should be able to fix the more complex bugs, by users or by any team members. They should also document the development changes before launching any new features. They should be able to guide Associate Software Developers (DEV - L1) In addition to L1 responsibilities, the Software Developer (DEV - L2) will: Develop, maintain, and enhance our applications using software development technologies. Work independently on development tasks with minimal supervision Deep understanding of Github. Should be able to design complex software features. Ensure the top-tier availability and performance of the application Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing. Mentor and support Associate Software developers. Implement and maintain back-end services, databases, and APIs to support front-end and back-end functionalities.
