26 weeks Days 10hour shift 40 hours guaranteed per week

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative nursing practice performs nursing activities in the preoperative intraoperative and postoperative phases of the patients surgical experience. He/she works to ensure the provision of quality care to surgical patients through the utilization of the nursing process established standards of care policies and procedures. The perioperative nurse acts as the patient advocate and is responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to him/her. The RN is responsible to the Unit Nurse Manager House Supervisor or RN Team Leader. This position will be in the Call rotation.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• At least (3) years of RN experience is required.
• Previous OR/Circulate experience preferred

Licenses Certifications and Registration:

• A current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission.

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: TuesFridayno call
