Job Overview:
The ServiceNow Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within assigned territories. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Lead mentor and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Provide guidance and support to sales team members including training coaching and performance management.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients understanding their needs and positioning ServiceNow solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored sales pitches presentations and proposals.
Account Management:
- Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand their evolving needs and align ServiceNow solutions accordingly.
- Drive upsell and crosssell opportunities by demonstrating the value of additional products or services.
Market Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends competitive landscape and market dynamics related to ITSM and digital transformation.
- Utilize market insights to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee sales forecasting pipeline management and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in software sales preferably within the ITSM or enterprise software industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and solutions is a plus.
