Sr. Systems Engineer

The ideal candidate for the position will be a seasoned IT professional proficient in PowerShell

scripting VMware ESXi virtualization Microsoft Active Directory Azure Microsoft Endpoint

Configuration Manager MFA/SSO backup platforms Pure Storage enterprise solutions MSSQL

database services and IT security practices. They will excel in patch management networking disaster

recovery planning and IT asset procurement while possessing certifications such as VCPDCV Azure

Fundamentals and ITIL Fundamentals. Experience in banking core systems Intune Ivanti and

enthusiasm for documentation and knowledge sharing are highly desirable. The candidate should

demonstrate strong communication skills professionalism ability to work independently and in a team

environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expert in PowerShell scripting; Automation Integration Testing and Configuration

Management.

Expert in VMware ESXi Virtualization; Architecture Configuration Implementation

Maintenance and Support in a N1 HighAvailability environment running in colocated

data centers.

Expert with Microsoft Active Directory (on premise and Azure) Microsoft Server AD

DNS GPO Entra ID CAP etc.

Expert in Microsoft Azure; Pricing Models Provisioning Architecture Implementation

Configuration Maintenance Security Support.

Proficient with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager; Configuration Patching

Automation Imaging.

Proficient in MFA/SSO in Duo and Azure including SAML and API integrations.

Proficient in modern backup platforms Rubrik experience is a plus.

Proficient in Pure Storage Enterprise Storage Solutions; Architecture Configuration

Maintenance and Support in a N1 HighAvailability.

Strong experience in MSSQL database services; Configuration Implementation and

Server Administration.

Strong experience in administering applications using vendor provided

documentation and support to ensure maximum effectiveness and minimal downtime.

Strong IT engineering security acumen; best practice standards (i.e. NIST FFIEC

etc.) hardening procedures defenseindepth.

Strong experience in patching windows endpoint using MECM and PowerShell as the

automation engines.

Strong networking knowledge and skills including TCP/IP and DNS.

Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures which include system

diagrams system overviews knowledgebase entries service level agreements

maintenance windows and support contact information.

Works with other IT personnel and if necessary consultants and/or vendors to

design implement or support new and/or existing technology changes.

When necessary work with outside vendors to resolve more complex hardware

and/or software issues.

Works with the CIO ISO and IT Management to ensure the IT Disaster Recovery

(DR) Plan is aligned with the Banks Business Continuity Plan and participates in

planning and execution of annual DR tests

Ensures purchasing of IT assets is in alignment with the Banks purchasing policy.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

Demonstrated PowerShell proficiency.

VCPDCV Certification.

Pure Storage experience in Architecture Configuration and/or Administration.

Azure Fundamentals or higher certifications.

ITIL Fundamentals Certification or demonstrated experience.

FDIC Audit compliance experience.

Experience in banking core systems.

Intune Experience; Design Implementation Integration and Administration.

Ivanti Experience; Design Configuration Integration and Administration.
