Restaurant Elements located in the Always Hotel is looking for a fulltime staff member. Your main duties will include cooking and cleaning customer service and sales. You will be responsible for supporting both the front and back of house teams to ensure the smooth running of the daily operations. From food preparation portering table clearing to guest service the daytoday operations of this position require a person who pays attention to detail and can work in a flexible environment. As with all Hospitality team members You will be the face of the restaurant and is responsible for providing an enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing food
- Checking food inventory and placing orders
- Work with front of house staff to ensure that all guest meal requests are served on time
- Replenish inventory of small items tableware and condiments
- Opening and closing the store according to business hours
- Perform and assist with other kitchen/front desk duties as requested
- In room service serving food and drinks to customers based on SOPs
- Ensure work place are clean and sanitary
- Sales to acquire new customers
- Deliver and collect Bento boxes
- Marketing
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

- At least 1year experience in the kitchen
- Ability to speak Japanese or English at a daily conversation level is a plus
- Have a valid Japanese working holiday visa or work permit
- Regular drivers license to drive in Japan (AT limited is acceptable)

- Standard working days are 5 days per week up to 6 days per week
