Registrar Obs and Gynae

The Position:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Obs and Gynae Registrar who is looking to further your experience within a dynamic team. 12- or 24-month full-time contracts available with possible flexible work options.

• Salary: $117,083 to $160,639 per annum, plus 11% superannuation

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Participation in Antenatal Clinic, Gynaecology clinic (including Colposcopy Assessment) and Gynaecology theatre sessions including assisting and performing minor and major procedures.  This unit offers Advanced Laparoscopic surgery – including Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomies and advanced hysteroscopy procedures.
• Participating on the on-call roster for Birth Suite
• Early Pregnancy Ultrasound Scanning (EPAS) as well as general Obstetrics & Gynaecology Point of Care Ultrasound Scanning under supervision (POCUS)
• Inpatient assessment and management in consultation with the treating Consultant
• Excellent experience in higher-risk patient care
• Resident support, supervision, feedback, and training

With a total of 367 beds, 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients, the hospitals will be conveniently located within one complex, bringing health care closer to home. The public hospital’s state-of-the-art facilities will deliver newer and expanded services than those currently provided.

Essential
Current AHPRA registration and at least 12months experience working in Obs and Gynae at Registrar level
